Deletion Requests

eustella Deletion Requests

Last updated: 21.04.2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from the eustella mobile application (available on Android and Apple iOS) and how to exercise your other data protection rights.

1. Beta status

eustella is currently in a closed beta testing phase. During this period, access to the app is invitation-only and features may change, be reset, or be removed as part of ongoing development. Your data protection rights under the GDPR apply in full throughout the beta, and we honour deletion requests exactly as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your eustella account or data, please email us at:

privacy@eustella.com

Please send your request from the email address associated with your eustella account so we can verify your identity. If that is not possible, we may ask for additional information to confirm you are the account holder before we act on your request.

We will acknowledge every deletion request and complete the deletion within the timelines set out in our Privacy Policy (typically within 30 days from our active systems, and within our backup rotation period of up to 90 days from backups).

3. Full or partial deletion

You can choose the scope of your deletion request. Please state in your email which option you would like:

Full deletion. We delete your entire eustella account and all associated personal data, including your profile, all conversations, all saved personalisation preferences, and any data from connected third-party services. After full deletion, your account cannot be recovered.

Partial deletion. We delete specific categories of data you identify while leaving the rest of your account intact. Examples include:

  • Deleting all conversations but keeping your account active.
  • Deleting all personalisation preferences (what eustella has learned about you) while keeping your conversation history.
  • Removing data associated with a specific connected third-party service (e.g. Google Calendar or Google Drive).
  • Deleting conversations from a specific time period.

If you are not sure which option fits your needs, describe what you would like to remove and we will help you choose the right scope.

4. Other data protection requests

Deletion is one of several rights you have under the GDPR. You can also use privacy@eustella.com to exercise any of your other rights, including:

  • Right to access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to restrict processing - ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability - request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object - object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent - withdraw any consent you have previously given.

For a full description of each right, the legal basis we rely on for processing, and the retention periods that apply to your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Some data must be retained even after a deletion request because we are legally required to keep it - for example, billing records under Austrian accounting law. Where this applies, we will tell you exactly what has been retained, why, and when it will ultimately be deleted. See Section 10 of our Privacy Policy for the specific retention periods.
